<p>Congratulations to Jaime Macias (on left) and Alonso Hernandez (on right) for taking the High Point Header and High Point Heeler titles at the 2011 Katch 'Em For Kids Team Roping.</p>
<p>The fundraising team roping, sponsored by <a href="http://www.weatherford.com" target="_blank">Weatherford</a>, kicked things off for the Ring of Fire Ranch Rodeo which is held on the following weekend, July 30, 2011.</p>
<p>The Katch 'Em For Kids Team Roping included three numbered ropings this year - #8, #10 and the #12. Here is a little extra information for those of you unfamiliar with the team roping world: Headers (the roper that catches the horns) and heelers (the roper that catches the hind feet), are numbered according to their respective skill levels. Each roping is then designated at a certain level by assigning a number. The combined total of the Header/Heeler pair can not exceed the numbered level of the roping. For example: #4 Header and #5 Heeler can enter the #10 roping, but not the #8 roping. Their combined level of ability exceeds what is expected in a #8 roping.</p>
